It appears that Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko will rematch at UFC 213 in July.

A women’s bantamweight title fight is in the works for UFC 213 in July, and it will be a rematch. Reigning champion Amanda Nunes will look to put up a second win over challenger Valentina Shevchenko in what will likely be one of at least two title fights on the Vegas card.

MMA Fighting broke the news of the 135-pound championship matchup.

Nunes (14-4, 7-1 UFC) defeated Miesha Tate for the title at UFC 200, and successfully defended it by stopping Ronda Rousey in just 48 seconds in December. She earned her original title shot by defeating Shevchenko at UFC 196.

Shevchenko (14-2, 3-1 UFC) has won two in a row since losing to Nunes, defeating Holly Holm by five-round decision and stopping Julianna Pena by submission in January.

UFC 213 takes place in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 8th. Other bouts confirmed for the card include a welterweight tilt between Donald Cerrone and Robbie Lawler; a third heavyweight fight between former champ Fabricio Werdum and Alistair Overeem; and Anthony Pettis vs. Jim Miller in the former’s return to 155 pounds.
