Anderson Silva is once again calling for a second bout with Nick Diaz.
The former UFC middleweight champion, who fought to a decision with Diaz two and a half years ago, revealed his interest in facing the former Strikeforce welterweight kingpin inside the Octagon through his social media on Sunday night.
“I believe this was one of the best fights in the history of this sport,” Silva wrote of the UFC 183 main event. “With all my respect Nick. Let’s show how it’s done. I will wait your reply, maximum respect to the Diaz family.”

“The Spider” defeated Diaz via unanimous decision after five rounds in Jan. 2015, but the result was overturned to a no-contest after both fighters failed drug tests.
Diaz hasn’t fought since that night, and is currently serving a provisionally suspension for not filing out his whereabouts so he can be tested by USADA.
The Brazilian recently earned his first victory in years with a decision against Derek Brunson in February. “The Spider” was scheduled to face Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 212, but was pulled from the card after Gastelum tested positive for marijuana use in his recent win over Vitor Belfort.
