Before Andrei Arlovski continues his quest toward the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic at this weekend’s (Sat., Jan. 2, 2016) UFC 195 pay-per-view (PPV) event, take a trip down memory lane to see one of “Pitbull’s” recent victories.
The bout took place on Sept. 13, 2014 in Brasilia, Brazil at Ginasia Nilson Nelson, in what promised to be a hard-hitting affair.
It was just that, as the Belarusian blasted “Bigfoot” with a straight right which floored the massive slugger. What ensued was a barrage of hammer fists from Arlovski to secure his fourth straight win in only 180 seconds.
Now, Andrei will look to secure consecutive win number seven and another title fight inside the Octagon.
It won’t be as easy as 1, 2, 3, as Miocic is out to string together back-to-back wins himself and cause a bit more confusion in the 265-pound title picture.
UFC 195 will feature a much-anticipated welterweight title fight between division king Robbie Lawler and No. 1 contender, Carlos Condit.
