In just over one year in MMA, strawweight “Unstoppable” Angela Lee has proven herself to be one of the top prospects in the ONE Championship promotion.
Over the course of her first five fights, Lee has managed to pick up finishes in all five, including her most recent victory over Rebecca Heintzman in February.
“I thought it was a great fight for me,” Lee told MMAWeekly.com. “Rebecca is a tough competitor and it really showed in our fight. But I train to be better than my opponents in all aspects and that showed too.
“I feel super confident in my abilities and starting this year off with a win is a great thing. At the end of the day, I’m always looking for the biggest challenges and opportunities to test out my abilities.”

When asked if she feels she’s making good strides forward in her development over the past year, Lee replied, “I am happy with my progress. However, I am always looking to improve in every aspect of my game.”
Lee (5-0) will look to add her first MMA championship to her strong start when she takes on Mei Yamaguchi (15-8-1) for the inaugural ONE atomweight championship in the Ascent to Power main event at this Friday’s ONE event in Kallang, Singapore.
