A light heavyweight bout that could determine the next challenger to the winner of Daniel Cormier vs. Jon Jones at UFC 200 will take place just two weeks after that bout.
Anthony “Rumble” Johnson will face Glover Teixeira at UFC on FOX 20 on July 23 in Chicago, according to UFC officials. Cormier and Jones will unify their 205-pound divisional belts at UFC 200 on July 9 in Las Vegas.

Johnson (21-5) had been considered as a replacement for Cormier, when the champion had to drop out of the UFC 197 headliner with Jones in March, but opted to wait, instead undergoing a dental procedure.
Coming off of back-to-back knockout victories over Jimi Manuwa and Ryan Bader, Johnson is already the logical next contender to the belt, but instead of sitting and waiting, he’ll step back in the Octagon with Teixeira. Their fight is likely to be named the UFC on FOX 20 co-main event if the UFC gets a deal done to put Holly Holm in the headliner.
Teixeira (25-4) is also on the rise, having finished his three most recent opponents: Ovince Saint Preux, Patrick Cummins, and Rashad Evans.
