Anthony Pettis is back at 155 pounds.
The former UFC and WEC lightweight champion has ended his two-fight experiment at featherweight and will return to the division over which he once ruled.
Pettis will meet veteran Jim Miller at UFC 213 in Las Vegas on July 8. MMAFighting.com confirmed an initial report by Combate.
Pettis (19-6) has dropped four out of his past five fights dating back to his title loss to Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 185. He dropped to featherweight last year, and while he impressed in a submission win over Charles Oliveira, he missed weight for an interim title fight against Max Holloway and lost via third-round stoppage at UFC 206.
Miller (28-9, 1 NC), meanwhile, is one of the sport’s most enduring fighters. The 33-year-old from New Jersey has been in the UFC since 2008. He earned Fight of the Night honors in a majority decision loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 208, a loss which snapped a three-fight win streak.
