Two top Featherweight contenders with only three losses between them is coming to an Oklahoma venue someday soon … One fighter has been knocking on the door for a Featherweight title shot for a while. The other hopes he can blow past him in line with a big win at Bellator 146: “Kato vs. Manhoef,” which takes place inside WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Okla., on Nov. 20, 2015.
Those two men are Bubba Jenkins (9-2) and Jordan Parsons (11-1). Jenkins lost a title eliminator match to Georgi Karakhanyan at Bellator 132, but rebounded nicely with a technical knockout victory over Joe “The Nose” Wilk at Bellator 139.
Parsons has not been in the spotlight as much as Jenkins, but he’s quietly picked up two straight Bellator wins via knockout (at Bellator 117) and arm triangle choke (at Bellator 137). This will be his first fight on the Spike TV-televised main card.
