The biggest fight of Francisco France’s career takes place Friday at Bellator 150, and he doesn’t think his opponent is in his prime. Kendall Grove, who faces “Kiko” in the main card of Bellator’s show in Mulvane, Kansas, is 3-2 since joining Bellator in 2013, but France thinks he’s going downhill.

“Kendall is a veteran fighter, has competed at some of the biggest promotions, but if you look at his recent fights, he doesn’t seem too motivated, he doesn’t look like the old Kendall,” France told MMAFighting.com. “But I worked hard and trained hard for the best Kendall. I’m very motivated. I feel I’m at the top of my game. I really, really want to win this fight, and that will make the difference.”

France scored 12 of his 13 MMA wins by submission, but tapping Grove is easier said than done. Jiu-jitsu specialists like Demian Maia and Ricardo Almeida couldn’t do in the UFC, but France insists Grove is not the same he used to be.

“He fought these guys, but it was a long time ago. Looking at his recent fights, he’s a different fighter today,” “Kiko” said. “But it doesn’t matter. I’m going to a war. He’s a good fighter, but I’m ready for the fight.

“It’s hard to say how the fight goes because a fight is a fight, but I’m ready to go three rounds if needed. He’s an experienced black belt, but I will win the fight. He has long arms and legs, so you can’t make mistakes in some positions. But I have more resources on than him on the ground.”
