Bellator 154 “Davis vs King Mo” comes to SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., on May 14, 2016. After multiple bouts fell off the main card on Spike TV due to injuries, a revised line-up has been announced featuring MMA legend Sergei Kharitonov’s promotional debut.

Bellator 154 “Davis vs. King Mo” will take place May 14, 2016 at SAP Center in San Jose, Calif. The one fight still in tact from the original main card is between “Mr. Wonderful” Phil Davis and Muhammed Lawal. The winner will determine who fights Liam McGeary for the title.

A disastrous weekend for Bellator MMA saw Josh Thomson withdraw from his Michael Chandler fight due to injury and Jordan Parsons be injured by a hit-and-run, leaving the entire card set to air on Spike TV in disarray. Today’s new fights are an attempt to reset the line up.

The biggest announcement of the bunch is that combat sports legend Sergei Kharitonov (23-5) will make his promotional debut against Josh “The Juggernaut” Appelt (12-5).

Kharitonov has twice been a heavyweight tournament semifinalist in both PRIDE and Strikeforce, in 2004 and 2011, respectively, which gives you a good idea how long the 35-year-old bruiser has been around. Only one out of his 23 wins has gone to the judges.

Andre Fialho (6-0) has also agreed to fight Rick Reger (7-1) in a welterweight contest on the main card. Bellator plans to announce two additional bouts for Spike TV between now and May 14. The card as of now is below.

Bellator 154 “Davis vs. King Mo” (Spike TV):

Light Heavyweight: Phil Davis (15-3, 1 NC) vs. Muhammed Lawal (19-4, 1 NC)
Heavyweight: Sergei Kharitonov (23-5) vs. Josh Appelt (12-5)
Welterweight: Andre Fialho (6-0) vs. Rick Reger (7-1)
