Bellator 174: “Coenen vs. Budd” comes to WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Okla. on March 3, 2017. The main event will crown the inaugural 145-pound champion of the women’s division as longtime veteran Marloes Coenen meets the winner of seven straight in Julia Budd.

Two new fights have been announced for the televised broadcast on Spike TV that will precede the crowning of a new champion, with a co-main event that now features a former welterweight champion seeking to reclaim his glory.

“Spartan” Andrey Koreshov (19-2) had run off an impressive six-fight win streak in the promotion en route to claiming the title. The man he beat for that belt got his redemption last year in Tel Aviv when Douglas Lima knocked him out cold.

To earn his way back to a third match in their series he’ll have to go through Fernando Gonzalez (25-14), who was himself on a five fight win streak until losing a split decision to Michael “Venom” Page at Bellator 165.

Bellator also revealed a middleweight contest between Chris Honeycutt (9-1) and former Ultimate Fighter (TUF) winner Kendall Grove (23-16, 1 NC). A win for Honeycutt would be his fourth straight and earn him strong consideration for title contention.

The updated card as it now stands for Thackerville is below.
