Check out the results from the Bellator 175 main event, as King Mo picked up a big win in his rematch with Rampage Jackson.

The long awaited rematch between Muhammed Lawal and Rampage Jackson went down at Bellator 175, as King Mo was able to out-grapple Rampage to pick up the unanimous decision victory in the main event. Rampage had his moments in the second frame, landing big shots that had Lawal on the ropes, but Lawal did enough to win 2 out of the 3 rounds on each of the judge’s scorecards.

Main Event:

Muhammed Lawal def. Quinton Jackson by Unanimous Decision (29-28 x3): Heavyweight

King Mo pressured Rampage back to cage, where he ultimately scored the takedown. Rampage was able to scramble back up to his feet, but ate some punches for his efforts. Although Rampage made it up to his feet, he was unable to get any separation, and found himself on his back with about a minute left in the first.

The second stanza saw King Mo push Rampage’s back up against the cage for a descent chunk of time. Rampage managed to find his separation, and started uncorking heavy hands, which forced a desperation takedown attempt from Lawal. Rampage remained on his feet, and finished the round with authority.

King Mo took all of about 30 seconds before he shot in on Rampage. Jackson was able to thwart the takedown, and then landed a few Travis Browne-style elbows. Lawal repeatedly pushed Rampage into the cage. Rampage shot in on King Mo, but ended up giving up his back briefly, before just simply standing back up. Lawal did just enough with his strikes, to smoothly enter into the clinch, and repeatedly hold Rampage against the cage.

After picking up a unanimous decision victory over Rampage, it was announced that King Mo will face newly signed free agent Ryan Bader at Bellator 180 at Madison Square Garden. Bellator 180 airs on Spike, so it will not be on the PPV main card, which will be titled Bellator: NYC.
