Vote now in the Bloody Elbow Baddest Tournament to determine the Greatest MMA Light Heavyweight of All Time. Today’s match-up: #1 Chuck Liddell vs. #8 Keith Jardine. Vote now!

On December 10, 2011 at UFC 140, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira stopped Tito Ortiz in the first round. On September 11, 2017, Ortiz got his revenge. The #2 seeded Huntington Beach Bad Boy had little issue with the #7 ranked Little Nog in our tournament, taking him out by a comfortable margin of 30-4. Ortiz moves on to the second round and what would have been an absolute dream match in 2001 – a showdown with Kazushi Sakuraba.

Today, a match-up very similar to the last one. Again, we have a high seed vs. a low seed (this time it’s 1 vs. 8). And again it’s a rematch from a real world match-up where the lower seed stood triumphant. This time, it’s Chuck Liddell vs. Keith Jardine. The Iceman and the Dean of Mean. You pick who moves on.
