One match-up done, and we are officially on our way to crowning a new BE’s Baddest. In our tournament opener, Rashad Evans had little trouble taking out the #4 seeded Vitor Belfort despite being seeded lower at #5. Evans stomped the Phenom, 57-8. He moves on to the Sweet 16 – we’ll see how far this underdog can go as the tournament progresses.

Today, our first of what is sure to be many all-Brazil battles. This one is #2 seed and former UFC champion Lyoto Machida taking on #7 seed Glover Teixeira. It’s actually an all-Brazil foursome as the winner moves on to a battle with a Silva yet to be determined. But that’s down the road. Today, The Dragon vs. uh, Glover.
