Vote now in the Bloody Elbow Baddest Tournament to determine the Greatest MMA Light Heavyweight of All Time. Today’s match-up: #4 Anthony Johnson vs. #5 Forrest Griffin. Vote now!

Our third fight of the tournament featured two men who have never competed in the UFC in the modern age, and it was also the first real debate of the tournament. In the end, it was the inaugural UFC champion Frank Shamrock who took the win, taking out Ricardo Arona by a score of 28-16. Shamrock moves on to the Sweet 16 and a battle with either Rampage or Emanuel Newton.

Today, one of the heaviest punchers in the division’s history vs. a former UFC champion – #4 Anthony Johnson vs. #5 Forrest Griffin. This should be a tough call for some – I’m looking forward to the debate.
