Vote now in the Bloody Elbow Baddest Tournament to determine the Greatest MMA Lightweight of All Time. Today’s match-up: #2 Shinya Aoki vs. #3 Takanori Gomi. Vote now!

Well that was a blow-out. #5 seed Joe Lauzon could not keep his underdog run alive, as #1 Rafael dos Anjos completely dominated him, 40-7. I can’t even in good conscience give him Performance of the Night honors. Sorry Joe. RDA now meets Gilbert Melendez for a spot in the Final Four.

Today, it’s a match-up I have been eagerly anticipating. The Battle of Japan – #2 Shinya Aoki vs. #3 Takanori Gomi. Pride Never Die vs. Fancy Pants, with a spot in the Elite 8 on the line. This should be a good one folks.
