Rising middleweight Paulo Henrique Costa won’t be competing at UFC Fight Night 128 anymore.

Rising middleweight prospect Paulo Henrique Costa, also known as ‘Borrachinha,’ will not be competing against Uriah Hall at UFC Fight Night 128 anymore. As Combate reported, a 30% partial tear of Costa’ biceps occurred during a training session, forcing the 26-year-old to pull out of the fight.

Later on, Borrachinha himself confirmed the news on his Instagram, declaring that he could be back as early as June.

“This is not good news for my fans. I had a serious injury, partial breaking of biceps ligament. I know that you are excited to see me again and I am too, but i need some more time to return to show all my potential to you in the cage, soon you will see me again. probably in June. God bless. God bless.”

God bless. . . . . #somostodosborrachinha #theeraser
