Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is a polarizing figure. She’s brash, and many fans of the sport either love her or hater her. There’s little middle ground.
When Rousey’s reign atop the women’s bantamweight division came crashing down as her body collided with the canvas after being struck by a head kick from Holly Holm at UFC 193, her rivals celebrated. They mocked the woman that soundly defeated them as if they somehow played a part in Holm’s accomplishment.
Holm’s teammate, former UFC interim welterweight champion and fourth-ranked contender Carlos Condit reminded everyone, via Twitter, that the only person that has the right to gloat about Rousey’s loss is Holm.
