A featherweight bout pitting Chas Skelly and Jason Knight is the latest addition to UFC 211.
Skelly tweeted about the fight Friday, and MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani confirmed the news.
Skelly will be returning to his home state of Texas once again, looking to continue to build off his current two-fight win streak. Skelly has fought in Texas for his last two UFC bouts where he’s managed pick up submission wins over Maximo Blanco and Chris Gruetzemacher. Skelly is currently 17-2 as a professional fighter and 6-2 in the UFC.
His opponent, Knight, is coming off an impressive submission win over veteran Alex Caceres earlier this year at UFC on FOX 23. The 24-year-old fighter is also on a roll, posting three consecutive victories. Knight has a professional MMA record of 16-2, including his 3-1 record in the UFC.
UFC 211 is set to take place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic will defend his belt against Junior dos Santos in the headlining spot of the card.
