Christian Colombo will meet an undefeated newcomer in his third UFC bout.
The 37-year-old heavyweight will take on Carlos Felipe at an upcoming UFC Fight Night event in Sao Paulo, Brazil that’s scheduled to go down on Oct. 28. Multiple sources confirmed the news to MMA Fighting following a report by Combate. The event is set to take place at the Iburapuera gymnasium. No bouts have been officially announced by the promotion.
Colombo, who’s 8-2-1 in his professional fighting career, has yet to score a win inside the Octagon. After a majority draw in his promotional debut last September, “Godzilla” suffered submission loss to Luis Henrique two months later in November at UFC Fight Night 100.
Meanwhile, the 22-year-old Felipe signed with the UFC after winning seven bouts in a row in the local circuit, including six victories via knockout or technical knockout. “Boi” started boxing to battle morbid obesity, and decided to start training MMA in 2011.
