Jon Koppenhaver, who legally changed his name to “War Machine” back in 2008 — much to the chagrin of “gay-ass wrestling federations” — was found guilty on 29 charges last Monday (March 20, 2017) during his Christine Mackinday trial in Clark County, Nevada.

More on that verdict, as well as the charges that didn’t stick, right here.

“Today was a great victory for myself, as well as victims of domestic violence everywhere,” Mackinday wrote on Twitter. “Please continue to speak out, and stay strong! Thank you all for your support through the years, please continue to support others in similar situations, and BELIEVE them.”

Koppenhaver is expected to be sentenced in June for his brutal attack on Mackinday, better known under her adult film moniker of “Christy Mack,” back in 2014. An attack that also included former VH1 reality show star Corey Thomas.

Though not everyone is celebrating her “great victory.”
