Anthony Pettis isn’t shy in expressing his feelings on a potential lightweight showdown between he and current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
Of course, “Notorious” isn’t shy himself when offering up a rebuttal.
During a recent stop at The MMA Hour, Conor says he wouldn’t mind taking on the former lightweight king. Business wise, though, it probably won’t make too much sense as the fiery Irishman says Anthony belongs on Fight Pass events.

“As far as I’m concerned, he’s back on the Fight Pass events. He’s lower now. I don’t care. Like I said before, I’m not in this game for credit. It’s cash I’m here for, at this level. I am after the numbers. They’ll never give me the credit I deserve, but I do not seek credit from them. I seek cash from them. Pettis can say I never fought anybody. But he’s never fought anyone.
