Conor McGregor congratulates Henry Cejudo after UFC 238 win: ‘Welcome to the club’

While it is no longer a new occurrence, holding two world titles simultaneously is still a rare feat in the UFC. On Saturday night, Henry Cejudo becomes the fourth overall fighter to achieve such an accomplishment, after winning the vacant bantamweight title with a third-round TKO win over Marlon Moraes.

“The Messenger” now joins Conor McGregor, Daniel Cormier and Amanda Nunes in the very short list of fighters with the same achievement. Right after his win, Cejudo was given props by the man who started the whole “champ-champ” movement.

Among the four names on the list, only Cejudo and Nunes are the existing double champions in the UFC. McGregor was forced to relinquish both belts after failing to defend either one, while Cormier dropped the light heavyweight title in late 2018 ahead of the UFC 232 championship bout between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson.

From his end, Cejudo says he is also open to moving up to 145 pounds in the future and chase a third world title.
