Reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight champion Conor McGregor will not be competing at UFC 200, per UFC President Dana White during a special press conference today (Fri., April 22, 2016) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, which can be seen here.
McGregor’s original opponent, Nate Diaz, will remain on card, but his opponent has yet to be determined.
During the press conference, “Notorious” once again took to Twitter to express his feelings regarding his subtraction from the biggest pay-per-view (PPV) card of 2016:
Everyone flew in. Respect.
But not everyone up there made the company 400million in 8 months.

Only time will tell if McGregor can somehow wiggle his way back into the UFC 200, especially considering Diaz stated at the press conference that he only wants to fight the Irish superstar.
