Conor McGregor‘s disciplinary hearing over the bottle-throwing melee with Nate Diaz from the UFC 202 pre-fight press conference went before the Nevada Athletic Commission as part of it’s monthly meetings on Monday, Oct. 10. Diaz asked for and was granted a continuance, so he will not go before the Commission until a later date.
McGregor faced the music and Nevada dropped the hammer on him.
Despite the heavy penalties, however, McGregor is still slated to challenge UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez in the UFC 205 main event scheduled for Nov. 12 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
