Dana White said Friday it wasn’t fair to the rest of the UFC 200 athletes that Conor McGregor didn’t fly into Las Vegas this week. It didn’t take long for McGregor to respond on Twitter from Iceland.
Everyone flew in. Respect.
But not everyone up there made the company 400million in 8 months.

McGregor said in a Facebook statement Thursday that he was focused on training to get revenge on Nate Diaz at UFC 200 after losing to Diaz at UFC 196 in March. The UFC wanted him to go on a mini tour in Las Vegas, Stockton, Calif., and New York this week and next. There were also commercial and photo shoots involved with the promotional obligations.
White officially announced Friday at a UFC 200 press conference that the McGregor-Diaz fight was off and that the UFC is seeking a new opponent for Diaz. White said it wasn’t fair to the other fighters that McGregor blew off the trip and everyone else came.
“I just don’t see how that’s fair,” White said. … “It’s just part of the deal. These guys came.
“You think I don’t want Conor to fight? Of course, I do. It’s just not right.”
Diaz was asked to respond to McGregor’s tweet during the press conference. Diaz took the microphone, shrugged and said: “Conor got his ass beat.”
