Despite not fighting at UFC 200, UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor will reach something of another career milestone in July of this year. ESPN announced Monday ‘The Notorious’ would appear in ESPN The Magazine’s ‘Body Issue’, an annual collection of photographs of famous athletes in either nude or semi-nude conditions.

According to ESPN, the full roster of athletes in this year’s Body Issue will be released June 20. The magazine hits newsstands on July 8.

McGregor, 27, becomes the sixth MMA fighter to appear in the special edition magazine. Previous mixed martial arts entrants include former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate, interim UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, Invicta featherweight champion Cristiane Justino and her one-time husband, Cyborg Santos. Rousey is the only MMA athlete to appear on the magazine’s cover.

Currently, McGregor is without an opponent or fight date, although efforts are underway to have the Irish featherweight return to the UFC’s Octagon after a public spat with the company over promotional responsibilities. McGregor last fought at UFC 196 in March where he lost to Nate Diaz via second-round submission.

Rumors of a potential boxing bout between McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. have surfaced in recent weeks, but McGregor remains contractually tied to the UFC with the organization as his sole combat sports promoter.
