Dude … make up your f—-ing mind.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White recently made an offer to boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, regarding a potential Conor McGregor fight, then rescinded said offer when the “Notorious” mixed martial arts (MMA) champion was given a puny piece of the pie.
Fast-forward a few weeks (and a dozen stupid articles like this one) and we’re back in the “it’s happening” phase of the crossover fight.
“I do think it’s gonna happen,” White told Conan O’Brien. “I think it’s going to be a tough deal, because obviously [there are] a lot of egos involved in this deal and a lot of people, so that always makes it tougher. On the flip side, there’s so much money involved. I just don’t see how it doesn’t happen.”
Not everyone shares his optimism.
Mcgregor hasn’t been seen since his blistering knockout win over Eddie Alvarez at the UFC 205 pay-per-view (PPV) event back in November, one that preceded his 10-month hiatus. Mayweather, meanwhile, walked away from boxing in late 2015 with a perfect record of 49-0.
See you on June 10?
