Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White is hopping on the troll bandwagon, continuing the asinine discussion about a (cough) “super fight” between undefeated boxing phenom Floyd Mayweather Jr. and UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor.
While White previously told Mayweather to call him if there was genuine interest in cage fighting, the Las Vegas fight boss took it one step further on Friday during his visit with The Herd on FOX Sports 1.

“I’ll tell you what, Floyd, here’s a real offer, and I’m the guy that can actually make the offer, and I’m actually making a real offer. We’ll pay you $25 million, we’ll pay Conor $25 million, and then we’ll talk about pay-per-view at a certain number. There’s a real offer.”
Mayweather previously asked for a larger cut of the pay-per-view (PPV) should both sports decide to pursue another boxer vs. MMA fighter spectacle, claiming he was the “A” side in the equation based on his mainstream appeal.
White’s not so sure.
“To think that you’re the ‘A’ side? How are you the ‘A’ side? The last major fight that you were in, you left such a bad taste in everybody’s mouth, nobody wants to see you again. His last fight did 350,000 pay-per-view buys. Conor’s last (two fights), Conor did 1.3 and 1.5 million buys, so I don’t understand you think you’re the ‘A’ side. There’s a reason you want this Conor fight so bad, because you know that’s your money fight. If they’re going to box, Floyd looks at this thing like an easy boxing match for him, but Conor McGregor is his money fight.”
Not according to this guy.
McGregor continues to play his part, stoking the fires with continuous callouts and even went so far as to obtain his boxing license in the state of California. While it sounds great on paper, most peers believe this is nothing more than a publicity stunt.
Not that it matters, as “Notorious” is on the bench for the next 10 months.
Or is he???
