Daniel Cormier made his MMA debut two months after UFC 100, and he’s excited to be headlining the UFC 200 card on July 9.
Hours after the official announcement that the light heavyweight champion would defend his belt in a rematch with Jon Jones in Las Vegas, Cormier fired more shots at Jones, who just defeated Ovince Saint Preux to win the interim belt at UFC 197.
Yesssss! Let’s go. I’ve been wanting this. @ufc 100. I hadn’t decided to even fight yet. Now I’m defending my belt at biggest event in history. After what I saw last weekend. This will be light work. #bumjones #andstill @jonnybones you suck!

Jones and Cormier fought for the first time in January 2015, and “Bones” successfully defended his belt for the eighth time with a unanimous decision win. With Jones stripped of his title and suspended right after, Cormier fought for the vacant title months later, defeating Anthony Johnson and defended his title against Alexander Gustafsson.
