A welterweight clash featuring European prospects Darren Till and Jessin Ayari has been added to UFC Fight Night 109. The news was announced by the promotion on Tuesday.
Till hasn’t been seen inside the Octagon in almost two years. The 24-year-old prospect last competed at UFC Fight Night 76 back in 2015 where he battled Nicolas Dalby to a draw. Till is currently 13-0-1 as a professional fighter and 1-0-1 since joining the UFC in early 2015. Meanwhile, his opponent Ayari will be looking to build off his successful UFC debut win over Jim Wallhead at UFC Fight Night 96 in September. The German fighter, also 24 years old, carries a record of 16-3 in his professional MMA career.
UFC Fight Night 109 is set to take place on May 28 at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden. Top-ranked light heavyweights Alexander Gustafsson and Glover Teixeira are scheduled to headline the card.
