Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion Dillon Danis believes he would have made a major difference if he was part of the UFC 209 card.
Self-belief has so far been a prominent trait of multiple-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion Dillon Danis.
Danis first drew recognition in August of last year, when he was tapped as Conor McGregor’s grappling training partner for the Nate Diaz rematch at UFC 202. From then on, he has managed to make noise for himself as he seemingly campaigns for his own MMA run.
Several outrageous statements in the recent past have put the 23-year-old Marcelo Garcia black belt under fire from MMA fans as well.
“I honestly think I can go my first fight in the UFC, and I think I would dominate,” Danis said during an MMA Hour appearance last December. “I say that 100 percent being fact. I’m not a stupid person and I know what I’m capable of. I know who I’ve trained with, and I know what I’ve seen.”
Danis holds so much confidence in himself, that he believes UFC 209 would be a massive success if he was part of it.

UFC 209 is already a stacked card in itself as it features two title fights, among other notable match-ups. It will take place on Saturday, March 4th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
