Dominique Steele will be welcoming promotional newcomer Luke Jumeau to the Octagon.
The 29-year-old American has been booked to face New Zealand’s Jumeau in a welterweight contest at UFC Fight Night 110, which is set to take place on June 11 at the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. The news was announced by 1NewsNow.com and confirmed by the promotion on Saturday.
Steele last fought at UFC Fight Night 92 back in August where he suffered a unanimous decision loss to veteran Court McGee. The welterweight fighter is currently on a two-fight skid and finds himself with a 1-3 UFC record entering this bout with Jumeau.
Meanwhile, his opponent, Jumeau will be entering his UFC debut on a six-fight win streak. Jumeau’s last professional loss came against UFC fighter Jake Matthews back in 2013 at Australian FC 5. “The Jedi” is 11-3 in his professional MMA career.
