UFC Fight Night: Cowboy vs. Medeiros took place Feb. 18 at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. UFC welterweight contenders Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone (33–10, 1 NC) and Yancy Medeiros (15–5, 1 NC) in the night’s main event, which aired live on pay-per-view. Catch the video highlights below.

Round 1: Referee Herb Dean in the cage for the UFC Austin main event. Cerrone connects with a right over top early, then a crisp body kick. Spin kick from Medeiros catches Cerron’es shoulder. Jab lands for Medeiros and he catches Cerrone with a left coming in. Cerrone scores with a leg kick. Medeiros coming forward, but Cerrone not giving up. A pair of body kicks land for Cerrone. Medeiros punches the body. Right hand lands for Medeiros. Hard straight right for Medeiros and Cerrone has to back up to avoid the follow-up punches. Medeiros upping the volume with punches up top then a knee to the body. Counter left from Cerrone and Medeiros drops, unclear if it was a knockdown or a slip. They touch gloves. Cerrone with a clean left hand to the chin and Medeiros lands one of his own. Another counter left from Cerrone wobbles Medeiros, that one definitely hurt him. Jab from Cerrrone is slowing Medeiros’s advances. Knee to the body from Cerrone. There’s some blood under Medeiros’s right eye. They trade left hands. Medeiros blocks a takedown but eats a knee to the body. Cerrone with the underhook and he gets Medeiros back up against the fence. Medeiros reverses position. Knees to the body by Medeiros. They separate. Straight left for Cerrone. 1-2 combination from Cerrone rocks Medeiros and he flops to the mat, extremely hurt. Dean giving Medeiros plenty of time to recover, but Cerrone is all over him and the stoppage comes just before the round is over.
