EA Sports UFC 2 is now available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, featuring a roster of more than 250 athletes, a Knockout Physics System, new animations and updated character likenesses, and even Grapple Assist for those bouts that hit the floor.
But we don’t take anything on face value, so we packed up our bags and headed to Vancouver to see for ourselves. That included a chat with former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (more on that here).
“By listening to fans, sharpening our fundamentals, focusing on areas of innovation in gameplay, and adding massive depth to modes, we believe we’ve taken the franchise and MMA games to the next level with this one,” said Creative Director Brian Hayes. “We’re excited that it’s finally time to ask fans to stare back at their opponent, bite down on their mouth piece, come out swinging and finish the fight.”
There’s no better way to do it than by picking up a controller and slugging it out, which is why MMAmania.com correspondent Phoenix Carnevale fired up the featherweight title bout between Conor McGregor and top contender Frankie Edgar.
