LOS ANGELES — With a venue secured, ticketing information is now set for the showdown between undefeated boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. and UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor.
Promoters recently secured T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for the Aug. 26 event after coming to an agreement whereby the Big 3 basketball league, which had originally been planning on holding its first championship game at the venue, agreed to move across the Strip to the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
With the issue of where to hold the fight out of the way, Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe announced Tuesday on the first stop of the MayMac World Tour at Staples Center that tickets will go on sale to the general public on July 24.
Ringside seats will set you back $10,000 a pop, while the “cheap” seats will run you $500 each.
Prices in between the extremes at the 20,000-seat facility check in at $1,500, $2,500, $3,500, $5,000 and $7,500.
If you don’t have several grand to spend on tickets, the pay-per-view will run at a price of $99.95 for high definition.
