The documentary follows McGregor from his pre-UFC days fighting in Ireland and the United Kingdom to his incredible run with the UFC — right up to the historic boxing match with Floyd Mayweather in August. McGregor, 29, became the first UFC fighter to hold two titles at the same time in different weight classes when he beat Eddie Alvarez by second-round knockout at UFC 205 in November 2016.
“Filmed over the course of 4 years, Notorious is the exclusive, all-access account of Conor’s meteoric rise from claiming benefits and living in his parents’ spare room in Dublin to claiming multiple championship UFC belts and seven figure pay-packets in Las Vegas,” the movie website states.
The film literature promises behind-the-scenes, never-before-seen footage of McGregor and his team during the journey.
Per the website, the movie will be released in theaters in the UK and Ireland on Nov. 1, in the United States on Nov. 8 and Australia and New Zealand on Nov. 9. The rest of the world will be able to see it next year.
