Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre is serious about making his mixed martial arts (MMA) return (despite this claim). So much so, that “Rush” has reentered the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) testing pool, effective immediately.

From his conversation with Bloody Elbow.

“I don’t want to be an exception, because I was very outspoken about performance-enhancing drugs. It would be bad for my reputation if I would have an exemption. I don’t want to have a free pass, I want to be like everybody else. That’s why I’ll be starting the process Aug 10. I don’t have any fight yet, but it’s gonna happen now, because I’m getting tested, if I’m getting tested it’s for a reason.”

He may need to get tested for watermelon juice, as well.

The combat sports community lost its shit when former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar was able to un-retire and jump back into the Octagon without the mandatory six-month waiting period. Not that it mattered, as the WWE import failed his drug test anyway.

And USADA, by its own admission, is just getting warmed up.
