Georges St-Pierre USADA testing period makes ‘Rush’ eligible for UFC return in July

Sorry, no more loopholes and special exemptions, because they typically end in disaster.

That means former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre will be forced to endure several months of random drug testing from United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) before he’s eligible to return to mixed martial arts (MMA).

Not that he’s complaining.

“USADA confirmed Georges St-Pierre was part of the testing pool prior to April 1, which means four months of testing before he can return,” veteran combat sports reporter Damon Martin wrote on Twitter.

That puts “Rush” (and his tiny testicles) back inside the cage around July.

That said, there is no guarantee St-Pierre — who hasn’t competed since late 2013 — will make that timeline. That’s according to UFC middleweight championing and trash-talking opponent, Michael Bisping.

I guess he could always take that Yoel Romero Robert Whittaker fight while he’s waiting for his surgically-repaired leg to heal.
