The card for GLORY 25 is complete and an additional title fight has been added.
The fight card taking place on Nov. 6, 2015 from the Palaper in Monza, Italy, already features the return of Giorgio Petrosyan, who will take on Canadian up-and-comer Josh Jauncey, as well as a lightweight title fight between champion Robin van Roosmalen and Sittichai Sitsongpeenong.
That’s in addition to the one-night, four-man welterweight “Contender” tournament.
The world’s leading kickboxing promotion announced on Tuesday (Oct. 13, 2015) that a featherweight title fight between champion Gabriel Varga and Serhiy Adamchuk — originally scheduled for Bellator 142: Dynamite 1 — will headline the Superfight Series portion of the fight card.
The fight was delayed due to an injury suffered by Varga.
Varga (26-2) defeated Mosab Amrani at GLORY 20 to become the promotion’s first featherweight champion and the Canadian has won four fights in a row. Adamchuk (29-5) won his GLORY debut over Marat Grigorian via unanimous decision in Lille, France, on June 5, 2015. The Ukraine native is currently ranked No. 4 in GLORY’s featherweight division and defeated Anvar Boynazarov by uninamimous decision at Bellator 142: Dynamite 1.
