UFC light heavyweight and ex-kickboxing star Gokhan Saki would love to be the final opponent of Michael Bisping’s career.

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping is coming towards the end of his career. While he’s stated that he wants a farewell fight, and recently tweeted that he won’t fight at middleweight anymore, but is also on record as saying he’s uncertain if he’ll even compete again.

Bisping recently asked on fans on Twitter who his final opponent should be, and someone suggested Gokhan Saki. That “someone” was uh… Gokhan Saki.

Saki (1-1) is a former kickboxing superstar who signed with the UFC almost exactly one year ago. “Turkish Tyson” made his Octagon debut later that September — his previous MMA fight back in 2004 ended in a TKO loss — and knocked out Luiz Henrique da Silva in the opening round.

Bisping (30-9) lost his middleweight title to Georges St-Pierre in a thrilling fight at UFC 217, as GSP dropped and choked Bisping unconscious. The Brit then took a short notice bout in the same month against Kelvin Gastelum, suffering a brutal first-round KO. His last win came in front of his home fans in Manchester, England, as he rallied from two knockdowns to beat rival Dan Henderson at UFC 204.

Saki does have an actual fight to prepare for, as he’ll be taking on prospect Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 226 on July 7th.
