Henry Cejudo versus Sergio Pettis the latest big fight added to UFC 211 in Dallas

Dallas, Texas is getting a super sized UFC event on May 13th with two title fights and now a flyweight contender match between Henry Cejudo and Sergio Pettis.

The heavyweight UFC 211 card in Dallas set for May 13th just got a dose of flyweight action.

Hot on the heels of the promotion announcing Eddie Alvarez versus Dustin Poirier for the event, a 125 pound match between top ranked flyweights Henry Cejudo and Sergio Pettis has also been added. Cejudo holds an Olympic gold medal in wrestling from the 2008 Beijing games and is currently ranked the #2 flyweight in the division. Sergio Pettis is best known as the little brother of Anthony Pettis, but is finally coming into his own in the UFC with a three fight win streak that has him up to #5 in the rankings.

The fight joins what is looking like a pretty stacked UFC 211 card in Dallas headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Stipe Miocic and Junior dos Santos. The gold doesn’t stop there as women’s strawweight champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk will defend her belt against Jessica Andrade. Welterweight contenders Demian Maia and Jorge Masvidal will also be fighting on the card, and the UFC just keeps on announcing more great fights. Even the likely loss of Ben Rothwell versus Fabricio Werdum due to a PED violation by Rothwell doesn’t hurt the card too much with all the other fights going down.

UFC 211 takes place on May 13th. For more information on the card and other upcoming UFC events, click here.
