Buffalo Wild Wings FTW! Watching UFC 129: St. Pierre vs. Shields on pay-per-view (PPV) back on April 30, 2011, in Tampa, Ariz., at Buffalo Wild Wings would have been just about the most popular mixed martial arts (MMA) thing imaginable based on this recent research from JoeHandPromotions.com.

Impossible, too, considering that Tampa is in Florida (not Arizona). But, you get the idea. Joe Hand Promotions, the exclusive commercial TV distributor for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), recently crunched its own PPV numbers, exploring the states and cities that have broadcast the most UFC events (per capita) across the United States in recent years.

Immediate takeaways: Retired superstars Georges St. Pierre and Brock Lesnar, as well as recovering former Middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, are sorely missed. Jake Shields is not (editorial license!). Arizona, Florida and Texas love to witness face punching. A lot. Buffalo Wild Wings is boss. For reals.
