Invicta FC bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger led the salary report for Invicta FC 17, earning $20,000 for her title defense over Colleen Schneider, which Evinger won via unanimous decision. The California State Athletic Commission released the event’s figures Tuesday to MMA Fighting.
In the night’s co-main event, ex-UFC fighter Angela Hill banked $14,000 for her split-decision win over former Invicta FC strawweight champion Livia Renata Souza. The victory made Hill the new Invicta FC strawweight titleholder.
Invicta FC 17 took place May 7 at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, Calif. The event aired live on UFC Fight Pass.
Aside from the two champions, the highest earner on the card was featherweight contender Charmaine Tweet, who pocketed $10,000 for her first-round TKO win over Latoya Walker.
A complete list of the Invicta FC 17 salaries can be seen below. As always, these figures do not represent a fighter’s total earnings, as sponsorship incomes and discretionary post-fight bonuses are not publicly disclosed.
