Daniel Cormier shares more of his thoughts on Jon Jones following Jon’s latest drug screw up.
Cormier is in a very strange position: he’s the former UFC light heavyweight champion, and he’s probably going to be the future UFC light heavyweight champion once his loss to Jon Jones at UFC 214 is overturned due to Jon’s latest USADA drug violation. For years, Cormier has had to listen to fans call him a paper champ due to Jones. We imagine things won’t be better following that crushing KO loss at the end of July.
But Cormier is trying to put all this craziness into perspective, and he shared some more thoughts on the whole Jones debacle with the Fight Society podcast (via MMA Fighting).
“I think enough is enough now honestly, if I’ve got to be honest with you,” Cormier said. “I think it’s very difficult to consider someone the greatest of all time when there are these types of allegations tied to them. I think that’s probably the easiest and the best way I could say it right now without going too far in one direction, just because I don’t know.”
