No. 2-ranked Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Flyweight contender Henry Cejudo is faced with an enormous challenge in front of him at UFC 197 on April 23, 2016, when he meets 125-pound titleholder — and pound-for-pound superstar — Demetrious Johnson in the evening’s co-main event.

However, while “The Messenger” believes he has the right formula to take out “Mighty Mouse” in less than one month, the Arizona native recently took time on the “The MMA Hour” to tend to some criticism thrown his way by budding rival Joseph Benavidez.

“He’s going to get it, man. I don’t like to open my mouth a lot, because I’ll be honest with you, man, I come from the streets. I come from a certain part of the ghetto here in Phoenix. I’m a good s**t-talker. I’m really trying to compose myself a little bit, but I think he’s very disrespectful. I feel like I’m a good match-up for Joseph Benavidez. Watch me punch, watch him punch. Watch him kick, watch me kick. It’s different. I like to break things down, but his time is coming. His time is coming. I never said anything to the man. But, when I fight him, it’s going to be personal.”

Cejudo’s issue with “Joe Jitsu” stems from a recent callout by the latter after his unanimous decision win over Zach Makovsky at UFC Fight Night 82 last month. The pair were nearly booked to clash with each other in Fall 2015, but according to Benavidez, Cejudo got a little “picky” during contract negotiations.
