I get the feeling reigning 185-pound kingpin Michael Bisping is not popular among contending middleweights.
I dunno, just a hunch.
When he’s not busy taking fire from Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) division No. 1 contender Yoel Romero (sample), “The Count” is dodging bullets from 185-pound mainstay Ronaldo Souza.
“He’s a disaster for the division,” the Brazilian told Calgary Sun. “He’s not putting his belt on the line so that’s making the division a mess. He’s a disaster. A disaster for the division. All he’s done is run, so he’s a disaster.”
At least he defends his title (kinda/sorta).
While Bisping rides the pine and waits for his knee to heal — as “Soldier of God” plays hide the cup — Souza stays busy with a 185-pound showdown with middleweight “Barbarian” Tim Boetsch at UFC 208 pay-per-view (PPV) event this weekend in Brooklyn (details).
Anyone think we’ll ever see the day when Bisping fights “Jacare?”
