Jason Miller is once again in trouble with the law. And this time, it looks like he’ll be staying in jail awhile.
The 35-year old resident of Mission Viejo, Calif. is in custody on $1,000,000 bail at the Orange County Men’s Central Jail in Santa Ana, according to Orange County public records.
TMZ.com reported Wednesday that Miller, the former Strikeforce and UFC contender, was arrested Tuesday for a January incident in which he allegedly vandalized a tattoo parlor with graffiti.
The fighter nicknamed “Mayhem” has a long history of trouble with the law, with a rap sheet that includes brawls with police officers, an armed standoff at his home, and felony domestic violence accusations. He was arrested on Feb. 11 for an incident in Irvine, Calif. which involved 15 police officers and a K-9 unit.
Miller, whose last fight was a 2012 loss to C.B. Dollaway in the UFC, is scheduled to return and fight Luke Barnatt on May 21 in Italy’s Venator FC promotion. Following Miller’s February arrest, Venator president Frank Merenda went on a tirade blaming the media for Miller’s arrest and proclaiming the fight was still on.
