Joanna Jedrzejczyk won’t just take the UFC women’s strawweight belt back with her to Poland. She’ll take a nice check as well.
Jedrzejczyk made $210,000 in disclosed pay ($105,000 to show, $105,000 to win) with her unanimous decision win over Claudia Gadelha in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale last Friday night in Las Vegas. Jedrzejczyk and Gadelha won Fight of the Night as well, pocketing another $50,000 each, so Jedrzejczyk will return to her native country with $260,000 for the night’s work.
The TUF 23 Finale took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. It was the middle event of three International Fight Week cards.
Gadelha didn’t make out too badly, either. She made $100,000 in show money.
In his UFC debut, Will Brook also took home six figures. With his unanimous decision victory over Ross Pearson, the former Bellator MMA lightweight champion got $100,000 (including a $50,000 win bonus).
A complete list of the TUF 23 salaries can be seen below. As always, these figures do not represent a fighter’s total earnings, as certain sponsorship incomes, pay-per-view bonuses, or discretionary post-fight bonuses are not publicly disclosed.
