Veteran bantamweight Joe Soto has stepped in to replace Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto against Chris Beal at UFC Fight Night 89 in Ottawa on June 18. UFC announced the change on Thursday.

Soto (15-5) is looking to get his first UFC win after going 0-3 in his first three outings for the fight promotion. He made his Octagon debut in 2014, taking on T.J. Dillashaw on one day’s notice. He’s coming off a split decision loss to Michinori Tanaka in January.
