Jose Aldo: Conor McGregor has no power in his hands, Frankie Edgar doesn’t deserve title shot

Conor McGregor suffered his first defeat inside the Octagon Saturday night, tapping to Nate Diaz in a welterweight bout at UFC 196. Minutes after the bout, former featherweight champion Jose Aldo called “The Notorious” out on Twitter, but insists he didn’t watch the fight live.

Aldo was on TV show Extra Ordinarios Sunday night, and told a Combate reporter backstage that he was watching porn instead of McGregor vs. Diaz.

“I watch Sexy Hot at night, man,” said Aldo, guaranteeing that he watched the contest right after. “I already knew that would happen, I was just waiting. When I knew (about the result), I didn’t think twice and posted something (on Instagram), I knew that would happen. I said a while ago that he wouldn’t have anything by the end of the year, even the belt.”

“He quit, couldn’t take it anymore, wanted to run away,” he said of McGregor’s jiu-jitsu. “He’s a p*ssy. He went down and quit.

“He was slapped in the face. He looked like a child, getting slapped in the face”.

Aldo lost his 145-pound UFC belt to McGregor last December, suffering the first knockout loss of his career in just 13 seconds. Despite the result, and McGregor’s knockout rate in the UFC, the Brazilian thinks “The Notorious” have no power in his hands.

“Some fighters have a great punch, others don’t. His hands are actually made of soap,” Aldo said on Extra Ordinarios. “Of course that anyone goes down if you connect a blow in the chin. Even a child hitting in the chin, anyone goes down. He has hands of soup. He always hits and nobody ever feels it.”

Aldo even joked about his quick loss to McGregor.
